Recent visits to central NSW, Australia have inspired several news work. Check out my Gulgong and Carnival series for new works.

It was surprising to learn that I qualify as a local artist with the Cudgegong Gallery at Gulgong. I am showing there in July - August with a friend I met through Blackheath Art Society.

It has been exciting to be invited to show at Grenfell Art Gallery later this year as well.

As a member of the Blue Mountains Artist Network I am participating in the Blue Mountains Artists Studio Trail, started in 2006. I am opening my studio to visitors by appointment. Please phone to make an appointment.

• planning an exhibition with my class in The Blue Mountains next year
• working on my new series of "People" paintings
